Between Weathers Updates On The Shetland News Website

As the momentum builds towards filming Between Weathers in Shetland next spring, film production company B4films has teamed up with Internet news site Shetland News to update islanders on the progress of the project.

As of today, www.shetland-news.co.uk will regularly host 'videoblogs' shot and edited by the film’s media partner, Aberdeen-based Imajica.

The videoblogs will be exclusive to www.shetland-news.co.uk for the first 24 hours, after which they will also become available on the Between Weathers website.

The film’s Creative director Jim Brown said he was pleased to be working with the Shetland News team as the small innovative company was a perfect example of what his movie is all about - how the Internet can help to provide professional jobs in a remote rural location.

Mr Brown said: “The idea of producing regular videoblogs stemmed from the fantastic level of interest in the movie we’ve had so far.

"Hans and his team are huge supporters of Between Weathers so we wanted them to be the first to publish our ‘behind the scenes’ blogs.” Shetland News partner Hans J Marter said he was enthusiastic about getting involved in the film project after being contacted by Between Weathers media & press consultant Jeff Riley. “Between Weathers is going to be the next big thing in Shetland and we are very pleased the production team has chosen www.shetland-news.co.uk to help build up the excitement in the run up to the shooting of the film.”
