Contractor FLJ have been making steady progress on the new Fetlar pier and breakwater, despite the short daylight hours and adverse tides doing nothing to help. The breakwater is now at its full length. The armouring of the breakwater will be completed before it is brought to its full design height. Concrete work on the berthing facility is also taking shape. Updated pictures are available in the gallery area.

Jim Brown of B4films, Producer/Director of Between Weathers, the film to be shot in Fetlar next year, has hailed the 'F' factor a great success.The 'F' factor, so named by Chris Evans on the one show, is Jims quest to find local musical talent to appear in the film.
