Fetlar school has recently been inspected and has achieved "very good" in all inspected categories.
This comes as no suprise to anyone locally as we all know how lucky we are to have such great local school with fabulous talented staff. A link to the full inspection report is on the Fetlar school website which can be accessed here.
Fetlar school are now on the lookout for peole willing to record voiceovers for their forthcoming Christmas extravaganza. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Paul at Fetlar school.
Fetlar Youth Club are looking to get going again and to kick things off they held a fundrasing event at the hall on the 2nd of November. The Youth club provided Soup, teas coffess and cakes all day and hosted a bric a brac/car boot sale in the hall. An excellent total of £250 was raised, part of which will go to take local children to the christmas pantomime in Lerwick.
Fetlar Interpretive Centre also held a local craft fair on the 2nd of November. This proved popular with locals and also with some visitors, with steady sales of local crafts from the makers exhibiting.
Fetlar Community Association will be holding their AGM at 8pm on Monday 25th November.
