Some events take place on Fetlar each year, along with frequent one-off attractions. The Fetlar Sheepdog Trials is a popular event, within the crofting community, and many serious triallists come over to participate or watch. As well as regular events, Fetlar often hosts occasional one-off events, such as concerts run by the Shetland Folk Festival or Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival.
